On September 8, 2023 Alexander O. Gericke, Jr. beloved husband of the late Sandra Gericke (nee Barnes); devoted father of Alexander O. Gericke III, Daniel Gericke and his wife Charlene, Sandra R. Buschman and her husband Steve, and the late Roger Gericke; father in law of the late Mary Gericke; loving grandfather of Michael Wollet, Paige Gericke, Brooke Gericke, Jade Gericke, Torey Gericke, Holly Buschman, Dillon Wollet, Destiny Leon and the late Victoria Gericke; dear brother of Alva Deigert, Frieda Beckner, Isabelle Iozzi and the late Naomi DiBacco, Alfred Gericke, John Gericke, Tommy and Louis Gericke and Baby Girl. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16th at the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino Funeral Service, P.A., 263 S. Conkling Street from 2 to 5pm. Prayer service Eulogy to immediately follow at 5pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers. Contributions may be directed to the MD S.P.C.A..
