On May 15, 2025 Anthony "Tony" T. Kurek, Jr. beloved husband of Annunziata " Nancy" Santa Kurek (nee Canestraro); devoted father of Vincent A. Kurek and his wife Arlene, Edward M. Kurek and his wife Mary, Maria A. Haines and her late husband Dan and John L. Kurek and his wife Erica; loving grandfather of Julie Stanbridge, Danielle Thompson, Kenneth Wiggins, Anthony Kurek, Joseph Kurek, Michael Kurek, Katherine Kurek, Samantha Kurek, Gino Venanzio Kurek and Teresa Annuziata Kurek and Blakely and Everly Kurek; great-grandfather of Parker and Hunter Stanbridge. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Candlelight Funeral Home by Craig Witzke,1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10am at St. Augustine Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD 21075. Interment Holy Rosary Cemetery.
