Arcangelo "Arcie" Piunti

On April 7, 2021 Arcangelo "Arcie" Piunti passed away suddenly. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Piunti, step-daughter Diana Droneburg, mother-in-law Barbara Cunningham, brothers Michael (Sue), Edward (Marge), brothers-in-law Tom (Anita), George (Nancy), sisters-in-law Sonya Cunningham, Diana Sciscione (Al), nephews Chad Piunti (Amy), Dominic Piunti (Heather), Gabe Piunti (Emily) and niece Nikki Piunti Bordes, great uncle of Ella, Ben, Ryder and Dex. He is pre-deceased by his parents Gabriel and Carmela Piunti, his father-in-law Tom Cunningham Sr., nephew Matthew Piunti and niece Tina Piunti.

Arcie grew up in Highlandtown, graduated fron Patterson High School, attended University of Baltimore. He worked out of the Carpenter's union for 10 years, and he worked as a Building Inspector for the City of Baltimore for 36 years. Arcie loved soccer, golf, hunting, cooking, dancing and all things Highlandtown. In Addition, his greatest love was his family, there was never a request from anyone that he would turn down, he would spend numerous hours with his nieces, nephews and now his great nieces and nephews. He was Uncle Arcie to everyone.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Our Lady of Pompei, 3600 Claremont Street from 10am-12 noon. With prayers and eulogies starting at 12 noon. Interment private. In lieu of flowers. Donations may be directed to Johns Hopkins Childrens Center, Office of Development, 750 E. Pratt Street, Suite 1700, Baltimore, MD 21202 in Arcie's name. Relatives planning to attend are welcome to park on the lot at the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino, 263 S. Conkling Street.
