It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles “Charlie“ Di Seta beloved husband of Louisa L. (nee Petrosillo), loving father Joseph P.C. Di Seta, and his wife Theresa, Nicole M Di Seta; cherished grandfather of Samantha, Michael and Oscar; dear brother Richard Di Seta, and late Loretta Cirvello and Philip Di Seta; loving son of the late Mildred (nee Ciofanni) DiSeta and Frank Di Seta; dear uncle of Mary Vincent, Ciara Di Seta, Erin Bovee, Emma Tillman; devoted cousin of Gerry Sissellberger and the late, Phyllis (nee Di Seta) Grymes; also survived by generations of cousins, loving relatives, and friends Charlie grew up in Little Italy and was proud of his Italian heritage. For 81 years, he only ate Italian food with coke and chocolate cake with milk. He ate nothing else. He would never drink a Starbucks coffee much to the chagrin of his long time good friend Joe Bags. His circle of friends looked like a page right out of an Italian mobster movie, but they really were a fun-loving harmless bunch always with a quick joke. We will miss his loving personality, Baltimore charm, and endless smile.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29 from 3-7pm in the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino Funeral Service PA, 263 S Conkling Street. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30 at 10am at Our Lady of Pompei Catholic Church. Internment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
