Evelyn Eva (Zalenski) Zacharko

On June 4, 2023 Evelyn Eva Zacharko (nee Zalenski) age 87 passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Evelyn was a huge Disney fan and loved collecting memorabilia. She enjoyed baking, cooking and sharing her recipes with her beloved family. Babysitting her grandchildren was always a pleasure for her. Evelyn loved bus trips with her senior club, trips to New York and California with family members, summer vacations to Wildwood, New Jersey and cruises.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Martha Zalenski and her sister Lorraine Zalenski. She was a loving wife and caregiver to her husband, Robert Zacharko, Sr., who predeceased her by 29 years. Evelyn was a loving mother to her four children. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Zacharko, Jr.. She is survived by her sister, Rosalie Evans (nee Zalenski) and her other three children: Judith Claridge and her husband Russell, Gregory Zacharko and his wife Brenda and Gary Zacharko and his wife Melody. Evelyn enjoyed visits with her six grandchildren: Kevin Claridge and his wife Erin, Brian Claridge, Brooke Pedersen and her husband Brendan, Stephanie McComas and her husband Will, and Katelyn and Julie Zacharko. She was also lucky to love seven great-grandchildren: Liam, Bree, Bridgette, Logan, Wells, Brody and Oliver. Evelyn also leaves behind many other beloved family members including her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Charlotte Zacharko.

There will only be a private burial for Evelyn's immediate family.
