On August 7, 2023 Gerard "Peter" beloved husband of Kathleen C. Virella (nee Williams) devoted father of Monica Virella (Antonio), Rachael Virella (Oscar), Bernie McDonald (Heather); loving grandfather of Kayla McDonald (Tony), Madison McDonald and Vanessa, Jason and Ryan Xochihuila; great grandfather of Rocco and Aliza; dear brother of Renee, Maria and Phyllis. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino Funeral Service, P.A., 263 S. Conkling Street on Thursday, August 10 from 4 to 8pm. Prayer service on Friday, August 11 at 10:30am. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
