Giovanni Giuseppe "Peppino" Gizzi

On September 28, 2021 Giovanni Giuseppe " Peppino" Gizzi beloved husband of Giovanna Gizzi (nee Savino); devoted father of Stella D'Alessio and her husband Giuseppe, Donato Gizzi and his wife Jen and Michele Gizzi and his wife Shannon; loving son of the late Stella and Crescenzo Gizzi; cherished nonno of Alessandra, Matteo and Giuliana Gizzi and Chiara, Gianluca and Stefano D'Alessio; devoted brother of Alfredo Gizzi, Antonio Gizzi, Maria Gizzi, Constantino Gizzi and his wife Rosa, Gina Parravano and her husband Domenico and the late Michele Gizzi and Loreta DiStefano; dear brother-in-law of the late Guido DiStefano, Benedetto Ianni and Maria and Josephine Gizzi. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino, 263 S. Conkling Street on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2 to 9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 4 at Our Lady of Pompei, 3600 Claremont Street at 10:30am. Entombment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
