Gloria Elizabeth (Krausman) Poturalski

On November 22, 2020 Gloria Elizabeth Poturalski beloved wife of the late Edward Poturalski Sr., loving mother of Diane Dowling and her husband Les, Edward Jr. and his wife Debbie, Mary Jo Schreven and Sandra Hassell and her husband Fred. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Scott, Edward, Nicole, Kristen, Samantha, Katherine, John, Megan, Fred and Mary Jo; dear great grandmother of Gavin, Sophia, Jessica and Tessa; and fond cousin of Joseph Silver.

Gloria touched the lives of everyone she met through her kindness, determination, creativity and wisdom. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, painting, sewing and reading a good book.A graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame (Class of '48) Gloria lived a full life. She was well traveled and loved adding a patch from a recently visited locale to her travel bag. She retired early to take care of her grandchildren, never hesitating to give a hug when one was need or offer advise on a tricky problem. She fostered curiosity and creativity, teaching what she knew about the world while always seeking out more to learn. She was something different to everyone, but she was special to us all.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino Funeral Service, P.A., 263 S. Conkling Street, Baltimore, MD 21224 on Monday, November 30 from 10:30am to 11:30am. The following is required when arriving at the funeral home: Please wait in your vehicle until you are called, after you enter the funeral home please keep your visit brief. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon following the visitation at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4430 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206. No one will be permitted in the funeral home unless they are wearing a mask.
