On October 27, 2020, Hobart M. Blankenburg; beloved husband of Sara Malone Blankenburg; loving father of Aria B. Blankenburg; dear son of Dr. Kathleen Brown and Thomas Brown and Dr. Jo Blankenburg and the late Gary Blankenburg; dear brother of the late Jared Baralato and brother-in-law of Christine Strohecker. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Hobart's many accomplishments include being a graduate of Towson Highschool, studying Video Theatre at Stevenson University, doing woodwork with his step father, and studying Chemical Dependency Counseling at Community College of Baltimore. Creating music was a passion of Hobart's in which he was a member of several bands and independent projects, most notably his project Precision Field. Hobart will be missed by many from his time working in substance abuse treatment and being a member of AA. Through his own personal recovery he was able to touch many lives and cultivate a beautiful relationship with his family.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date; due notice to be given.
