Phillip Pete Theis, Jr.

Phillip Pete Theis, Jr. known to his family and closest friends as “Junie” or “Pete” passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the age of 78. Phillip will be greatly missed by his daughter, Jessica Brooke Theis Jones, her husband, Roger and grandchildren, Chance, Truli, Arieis, and Camerain and siblings Geraldine (Bo) Colabella, Linda Mason, the late Rose J. Tirabassi and the late Julia M. Bauer. Phillip was the son of the late Phillip and Theresa Theis. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, coach, and friend. He enjoyed coaching football and lacrosse at Patterson High School, running, and fishing. He lived his entire life in Baltimore City and was a devoted member of Our Lady of Pompei Catholic Church in Highlandtown where he frequently volunteered his time. He retired from Bethlehem Steel where he was a steelworker.

A visitation will be held in the funeral home of Charles S. Zannino Funeral Service, P.A., 263 S. Conkling Street (at Gough) Baltimore, MD 21224 on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1 - 4pm with a prayer service immediately following. Floral contributions are appreciated but in lieu of contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Pompei Church, Claremont and Conkling Streets, Baltimore, MD 21224.
