Richard Lee Hassell

On July 6, 2018 Richard Lee, United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, beloved husband of Ellen Marie (nee Swiderski); loving father of Katlin A. Hassell and Thomas R. Hassell; devoted brother of Margaret E. Drexler and her husband Joe, Frederick A. Hassell and his wife Sandra, Irene Heline and her husband David, Maureen Jones, and Cathy Narbet. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends, and his faithful companion, his dog Champ.

A visitation will be held to celebrate Richard's life on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the family owned Joseph N. Zannino Jr Funeral Home 263 S Conkling St (at Gough St, parking lot adjacent to building) from 2-6 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m. and military honors at 5:45 p.m. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to BARCS 301 Stockholm St Baltimore, MD 21230 or the Baltimore Humane Society 1601 Nicodemus Rd Reisterstown, MD 21136.
